My 485 was filed with NSC on June 1st. It reached NSC on June 4th. We haven't received any receipts so far. I think NSC is still working on June 1st cases. Maybe I need to wait for one more week atleast

Hi all,
My application Sent on 5th july to NSC, Received on 6th by NSC, any body got the receipt number filed after july 2nd.
I am seeing people are getting filed on july2nd.
I will update once my check cashed, pls. kep the updates.

The only change for now is the delivery date - July 10th instead of 09th (FTD doesn't deliver on Mondays)
good some people are taking notice and doing it.. lets keep it rolling and hope atleast few more add on.. cmon guys its just 35$ after all these years and so much money spent what is 30+ bucks.. I promise I will contribute to IV also regularly... make the noise.. and make sure this thing is mentioned in the blogs too so if people miss it here they will read it there and respond...

The other day you spent the entire day answering every question(s) people had. I even told my wife that our good friend is going to take all our worries out pretty soon. EB2 will no longer going accept porting so we will go faster and then guess what you didn't even file the law suit yet....you let us down!!
I have a humble suggestion for you, please concentrate on your work and read some books on ethics and leave the GC processing to CIS.

Last year we started a major membership campaign in Colorado. People kind of agreed that IV is the appropriate platform for this crusade, and they were willing to contribute money, but only if they see required transparency in the IV organization. Members of the state chapters have so far not heard about how the contributed money is spent, and what kind of lobbying took place in Washington.
Is good to hear the cheers of "IV is our only hope", and yes in one way it is, but unless we bring required reform to IV, the status quo will maintain. That is several years since its inception : limited number of paying members, half hearted participation in various campaigns, and inactive state chapters.

My labour and I-140 is approved last year and I am working with current employer from last 1 and half years. Employer is making good money trough me....

Its all about how you negotiate. You may have some leeway in your negotiations if you have enough years left on your H1B. If all other peaceful negotiations fail let them know - without loosing your temper - that filing I 485 is the most important thing for you at this point and if it does not get done before the PDs retrogress again you will look out for other job using H1B transfer. All they worry about is the billing money they get out of you and they are worried once you file I-485 they will loose it in 6 months due to AC21. If you make them see that they will loose it other way too they may cut some deal with you.

Paper filed EAD for me and wife on June26..TSC RD -June30..CPO on Sep'02.
Looks like people whose RD is around last week of June'08 are getting EAD approved...Good luck.

I agree with you 100%.
If you or any one else is planning to move forward with some plans for helping EB3 folks, expect some serious opposition to your efforts. Many EB3 folks themselves do not see any need for EB3 only actions.
A bunch of us talked to a lawyer regarding the INA and the initial reaction was not very encouraging. The lawyer was suggesting us to convert to EB2.
Lawyers would always suggest you to port to EB2, even in case EB3 I is going to be current tomorrow. Simple truth, they need money! So don't listen to lawyers on THIS!

The original intent of the thread is flawed and against the very purpose of creating such a thread. We have explained you during the phone conversation that it is not the right time to pick up country limits issue. We have run this by our strategist again and they have also advised us that its not the right time for this issue. Others on the forum, including unitednations, have also made an attempt to explain you the issues we are all dealing with. You are free to do whatever you think is best for you. We think that your actions are likely to harm the community effort. I think the threat of "ban" is out of place for mirage. Even if you ban his user id, he can pursue with his agenda irrespective of whether he is banned or not. IV core should educate mirage and other focus group leaders than threatening to ban them.
There have been so many divisive threads on this forum. IV admins never thought of banning such members.
He is a genuine member maybe not knowledgeable as IV core. Thats all.
